NucleoTel is a management platform for internet and cable television providers. Its mobile app is a workplace tool meant only for authorised staff of subscribing companies: it is not available to the general public and requires an account issued by the employer.
What we collect
Account and device. Username, the company the person belongs to, and a session credential. Alongside it we record the device model, its operating system and the installed app version, so we can provide support and control which versions may connect to the service.
Location. The app records the device's locationonly at the moment a person registers a payment or starts or completes a work order, with the app open. It serves as a record of where that operation took place. The app does not collect location in the background and does not continuously track staff.
Photographs. Images the person attaches to a work order, taken with the camera or chosen from the gallery, as evidence of the work done.
Subscriber information. Staff look up data about their company's customers — name, address, phone and account balance — in order to do their job. That information belongs to the employing company; NucleoTel processes it on its behalf and under its instructions.
How we use it
Solely to provide the service: recording payments, managing work orders, issuing receipts and electronic invoices, and providing technical support. We do not sell or share information with third parties for advertising purposes, and the app shows no ads.
Who we share it with
No one beyond the user's employing company and the infrastructure providers needed to run the service: cloud hosting, message delivery and electronic invoice certification before Guatemala's tax authority. None of them receives information for their own commercial purposes.
Retention and security
Information is kept while the company keeps the service active, and afterwards for as long as Guatemalan law requires for tax documents. All communication travels encrypted over HTTPS and credentials are held in the device's secure storage.
Your rights
A user may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their data through their employing company, or by writing to us directly. Where the request concerns subscriber information, we route it to the company responsible for that data.
How to request deletion of your data
Anyone who uses the NucleoTel app may ask us to delete their account and the data associated with it. The procedure is:
- Write to [email protected] from any email address, with the subject "Data deletion".
- State the username or email you sign in with, and the name of the company you work for.
- We verify the request with that company, because the account belongs to it, and confirm by email once it is done. We respond within 30 days.
What is deleted. The sign-in account and its associated personal data: name, email, credentials, the registered devices and app versions, and the locations captured when registering payments or work orders.
What is kept, and why. Payment receipts and electronic invoices the person issued are not deleted: they are the company's tax documents and Guatemalan law requires them to be kept. The same applies to the accounting record of collections. Those documents name the person as the one who carried out the operation, and that cannot be removed without breaking the company's books. They are kept for the period the law requires and used for no other purpose.
Subscriber information belongs to the operating company, not to NucleoTel. If your request concerns a subscriber's data, we route it to the company responsible.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will publish the updated version at this same address, with its revision date.
